How Do I Login?

If you’re an incoming resident, this was the account with which you electronically signed your lease! Follow this link to reset your password if you’ve forgotten your login credentials.

Many parent guarantors created RENTCafé accounts in conjunction with the lease execution. You can follow the same link above to reset your password. An invitation email from RENTCafe was recently sent to anyone who did not previously create an account.

If you did not receive an invitation from RENTCafé and you’d like an account, please fill out this request form. RENTCafe will then send you a registration email within a few business days.

Why does RENTCafé say I'm the guarantor for someone else?

If this is your first time navigating RENTCafé as a guarantor, you might notice the top right corner that states “Logged in as (Your name)- guarantor to (primary resident).” The system ties all relationships to the roommate who started the application process first. This resident is considered the Primary resident. Therefore, if John Smith is the “primary resident,” everyone else associated with the property will be a “roommate” or “guarantor” to John Smith. Please, disregard this. Each user has a unique login so that relationship has no relevance to the lease or payments made. All activity in RENTCafé is properly attached to your name.

Ways To Pay Rent

Your lease’s financial obligation is structured into 12 equal rent installments. The first payment is due August 1st.  Your final installment is due on July 1st, 2020. We provide a three day grace period before rent is considered late after 5 pm on the 3rd of each month. Below are the three different forms of payments we accept.

Payments FAQ

When will August rent post?
– Your reoccurring lease charges will post on the August 1st . These amounts will remain the same each month.

How much is my portion of rent?
– If you have roommates, that question is better suited in a group context. As the lease is joint and several, Fourstar does not decide how to divide the rent between parties to the lease. Many groups choose to prorate rent based on room desirability. If you decide to do this, please double check your math! It’s important that individual payments cover the total monthly due.

Can I schedule online auto-payment?
– Yes, but you first need to make a one-time payment successfully. After that has cleared your account, you can schedule the remaining 11 installments. The start date should be set to 8/31/19 and end date of 7/15/20. You can choose whether the payment posts on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Can pay from multiple accounts?
– Yes, you can link multiple checking accounts and choose how much you pay from each.

Can I pay my rent via credit or debit card?
– No, unfortunately, we are unable to process credit cards for rent payments.

General FAQ

Below are some frequently asked questions regarding the move-in process

💬 Can I move in early?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to move-in early. There is a very tight schedule, and we want to make sure that your property is move-in ready.

💬 When and where do I pick up my keys?

You will be able to pick up your keys at 2:00 PM on your move-in day, or any time after that at our office at 1310 College Avenue, Suite #310.

💬 Can you send me a copy of my lease?

A copy of your lease can be found quickly by logging into RENTCafé or checking previous emails from Fourstar.

💬 Can someone pick up my keys for me?

We cannot release keys to anyone who is not named on the lease unless they are a guarantor. Please make arrangements to pick up your keys. We only have one set of keys for each property, so the first roommate to arrive will pick up the keys for everyone in that unit.

💬 Will I need to set up utilities before I move in?

The majority of the properties that we manage require ONLY the Xcel Energy account to be transferred into the resident’s name upon move-in for either gas, electricity, or both. Your lease will clarify which utilities are included in your monthly utility fund and which utilities are not. During your move-in, we will provide you with this necessary information.

💬 Can I store a Pod/My Car/other personal items at the property before I pick up keys?

No personal items, cars, or pods can be stored at your property until your keys are released.
